Venice On The Creek

Did you know that you can have the experience of a romantic gondola in Venice right here in downtown Denver?

Our evening will start with mingling at a nearby venue so that you have the opportunity to meet everyone. Free appetizers are included and a cash bar will be available.

After mingling, we'll walk a few blocks to Venice on the Creek for a relaxing punt ride down Cherry Creek in lower downtown Denver. A "punt" is a boat similar to an Italian gondola - a long and narrow vessel (23' x 3') that is propelled and steered by a pole operator at the back of the punt. On the tour, our guide will fill us in on unique facts about the Platte River and the history of Denver.

This is a very romantic evening - in fact, when we did this in August 2006, it resulted in a June 2008 wedding!

This event is limited to 12 women and 12 men, so please register early!

Private Bowling Party

Join our private bowling party in the vintage lanes at the Denver Athletic Club! This place is a blast, with it's retro-style decor, private bar, and a jukebox. We've rented the entire place out so it's all singles, all night!

The party includes three hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, and yummy food (pizza and nachos are on the menu). A cash bar will be available. This event is limited to 24 men and 24 women and IT ALWAYS SELLS OUT, so sign up early! Park in the DAC Parking Garage (enter at 14th & Welton) for just $7!

Singles Cruise in the Western Caribbean

Western Caribbean

Join us for some fun on the high seas! This 5-night Western Caribbean cruise starts in Fort Lauderdale and has ports of call in Key West, Cozumel, and Belize.

Key West: Ernest Hemingway made wild, colorful Key West his home, and you will want to do the same. Home to modern-day adventurers, artists and poets, the island's charming Old Town teems with restaurants, bars and unique shops. Add pristine coral reefs, coconut palms and a laid-back attitude that's truly contagious, and it's easy to see why so many visitors to Key West never leave. Excursions from Key West include kayaking, snorkeling, a bike tour, homes and gardens tour, and a "ghosts and legends" tour.

Cozumel: The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world. Excursions from Cozumel include the Tulum Mayan ruins, a submarine deep sea adventure, a fiesta cruise, or a private island escape.

Belize: With miles of lush tropical rain forest, a gorgeous Caribbean coastline and the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, it doesn't take long to realize why Belize City is known as "The Jewel." Located between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize possesses a unique combination of modernity and rustic Caribbean charm. Excursion include a wildlife adventure tour, Mayan ruins, and or an "old and new" city tour.

Interior room - $650. Outside cabin (no balcony, but window) - $725. Balcony cabin - $1,015. All prices are per person based on double occupancy. For single, triple, or quad options, please contact cheri@rockymtnsingles.com for pricing.

Initial deposit is $200, due no later than 4/10/09 to guarantee the price. If you put down your deposit prior to 4/10/09, you will receive an additional $50 in shipboard credit! $100 of that is refundable until 7/10/09, the date the final payment is due. $100 is non-refundable.

INCLUDED: ship accommodations, ocean transportation, meals, nonalcoholic beverages, entertainment, and special round-robin dinner seating for our group (versus assigned). Transfers from the hotel to the ship are included if you stay with the group (see below).

NOT INCLUDED: airfare, hotel in Ft. Lauderdale the night before (recommended, $118 for a room with two queen beds), optional shore and land excursions, certain beverages, casino gaming, gratuities (except dining), and spa treatments.

Note: The cruise is not exclusively single, but our group will have single-specific activities and gatherings.

Banjo Billy's Bus Tour - The Halloween Version

Meet at the Big Blue Bear at the Convention Center (14th & California)

A Halloween Party on Wheels! Come take a ride in a bus that has disco balls, saddles for seats, horns that whinny and bark, and a rubber chicken on the front to lead the way. Oh yeah, you might learn some interesting facts about Denver too! Banjo Billy's Bus Tours are one-of-a kind, funky guided tours of downtown Denver. As you cruise through town in this zany shack-on-wheels, you'll hear haunting ghost stories, folklore, history, and humor. It's a tour like no other!

This is the "Halloween version" of the tour with a plethora of ghost tales, haunted sites, and spooky things! Wear your best Halloween costume to get in the spirit too! (There might even be some prizes)

Alcohol is allowed on the bus, so feel free to bring food and beverages of your choice. The bus will pick us up at the "Big Blue Bear" (14th and California, I think) at the Convention Center at 8pm sharp. Please plan to arrive no later than 7:45pm. The tour lasts for approximately two hours.

Due to space limitations on the bus, this event is limited to 13 women and 13 men.
